Stephanie McCusker

Stephanie has had a lifetime of living and learning sports specific training and muscle conditioning. Originally from Lisbon, Maine, she has been a competitive athlete for over 16 years in track and field, gymnastics and soccer. Starting her love of sports in gymnastics, she trained and competed in the USA Gymnastics circuit for years before becoming involved in both soccer and track and field. Her success in high school track and field earned her a scholarship to a Division I university where she was able to continue her life as a student/athlete. Competing in long jump, triple jump, and the short sprints for the University of Maine, Stephanie collected awards throughout her career including a first place finish at the 2004 New England Outdoor Championships in long jump, a second place finish in long jump and third place finish in triple jump at the 2004 Indoor America East Championships. Stephanie graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology – Health Fitness including an internship experience in Strength and Conditioning Coaching at Velocity Sports Performance.
Since moving to Los Angeles, California in the summer of 2006, Stephanie has been actively expanding her education with the C.H.E.K. Institute to become a Holistic Lifestyle Coach and C.H.E.K Exercise Coach. She has worked with a wide variety of clientele from competitive athletes of all ages to celebrities and corporate business professionals.  Stephanie's personal training programs are based on performance enhancing exercises concentrating on functional movements that improve both strength and stability. She emphasizes correct technique, proper bio mechanics and a healthy lifestyle to sculpt and balance the body while staying injury free. Her background in athletics and coaching will cater to all those with a competitive edge and help those who are looking for measurable results.
